About Lovish
A mathematics tutor focused on clear explanations, conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and building student confidence.
About Me
I am a passionate and experienced mathematics tutor with a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
During my graduate studies from 2021–2023, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various undergraduate calculus courses, gaining experience in teaching, grading, and mentoring students.
Since 2022, I have been tutoring K–12, high school, AP, and college students online, helping them build a strong foundation in mathematics through clear explanations, structured practice, and a supportive learning environment.
My Teaching Approach
- Explain concepts step by step rather than simply giving answers.
- Use screen sharing, examples, diagrams, and interactive problem solving.
- Encourage students to ask questions and actively participate.
- Adapt the pace and depth to the student's goals and current understanding.
- Provide notes and worksheets after sessions when appropriate.
- Focus on understanding that students can retain and apply independently.
